Dozens and dozens of freshly baked, frosted, delicious cupcakes were given out by Pam Turkin, of Farmington Hills, left, owner of Just Baked (Livonia, Novi, Royal Oak, Ann Arbor) and her staff, Amy Gallagher, of Ann Arbor, Elizabeth Licht, of Northville, and Jordon Strom, of Farmington Hills, at The Parade Company / Target pre-fireworks party atop Millers Garage on the Detroit River Monday night. Happy faces with frosting on them lasted until the last fireworks burst — 1,776 cupcakes were consumed and even Mayor Bing’s wife took home a box.
